Today, one of the main reasons for natural resource consumption and greenhouse gas emissions is Energy production and consumption. While short and long term planning for carbon mitigation, it is important to first neutralize Scope-2 emissions and then move towards the Net Zero target.
In 2023, 36.2% of our electricity production will come from coal, 21% from natural gas, 19.3% from hydraulic energy, 10.3% from wind, 6.7% from solar, and 3.4% from solar energy. ü was obtained from geothermal energy and 3.2% from other sources. As of the end of October 2024, our country's installed power has reached 114,599 MW.
